Questions
When can I get BuckScout?
BuckScout is coming to the App Store for iPhone on November 6, 2026. Android is coming soon.
Who pays?
Only the club. A club admin buys one yearly subscription for the whole club, sized by how many members you have. Members never pay.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New clubs get a 14-day free trial. You can cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
What if our club grows?
Nobody is removed if you hit your plan's member limit. New members can't join until the admin moves up to the next size.
Who can see our sightings and stands?
Only members of your club. Club data isn't public and isn't shared with other clubs. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking SDKs. See the Privacy Policy.
Where does the Hunt Score forecast come from?
It uses the weather forecast for your club's lease (wind, temperature, pressure and fronts), moon phase, rut timing estimates for your state where they're available, and your club's own sighting history. It's a guide, not a guarantee.
Does it work outside Texas?
Yes. Texas clubs get the TPWD MLD3 observation report and MLDP tag wording. Clubs in other states get a season report, and rut timing where published data is consistent for that state.
Does it work without cell signal?
You can download your lease map to your phone from the Club tab so the map works where there's no signal.
